The appalling fire at Grenfell Tower in 2017, tragically highlighted the critical nature of fire safety. Here at Integral, we have wide ranging expertise in fire detection, prevention and suppression systems, advising clients in all sectors on how to safeguard their buildings and people.
In July 2017, in the immediate wake of this disaster, we set up our own Grenfell Tower Response group, consisting of Directors and Heads of Division, drawn from across Integral and the wider JLL family, all of whom have a wealth of fire safety experience. It is designed to expedite swift delivery of relevant communication relating to any subsequent changes to legislation or responsibility, post-Grenfell inquiry.
This allows us to be ahead of the curve with regard to coming changes, giving our clients peace of mind that we can provide up-to-the-minute advice on safeguarding employees and tenants across both residential and commercial building portfolios. It’s just one of the many important ways we support our customers and protect members of the public, by providing added value advice and engineering excellence.
What’s more Hall & Kay, fire engineering experts who are also part of the JLL family, were recently able to help the victims of Grenfell in a practical way, by becoming involved in a high profile project with DIY SOS. Read more here.
