Integral in Redcliffe, Bristol

Integral Build has been appointed by developers Change Real Estate to manage the conversion of six Georgian townhouses in the Redcliffe area of Bristol from office accommodation to residential apartments.

3-8 Redcliffe Parade West, overlooking the floating harbour, will be transformed into 30 high quality one, two and three bedroom apartments with communal facilities and car parking.

In a joint venture with Cannon Family Office, Change Real Estate is planning a high quality and sustainable residential development that will include the restoration of the main façade of the Grade 2 listed terrace, that dates back to the 1770s.  The modern 1970s extension that is currently at the rear of the property will be redesigned as part of the development.

Work is due to start at the end of this month (April).

Integral Build Divisional Director Tim Stringer said: "These beautiful Georgian houses are in a prime location that is currently seeing a real renaissance in popularity.   They were never designed to be offices; converting them back to their original purpose as living spaces will be very satisfying.  We are pleased to be working with Alec French Architects and Clarke Bond as part of our design team; the project is challenging as we are working around old features whilst at the same time bringing the buildings up to present day requirements.”

James Fothergill, Development Manager for Change Real Estate added, “This Georgian parade is one of the city’s iconic features. Located within a conservation area of course brings challenges, however this redevelopment will breathe new life to the property which has real history behind it, protecting it for future generations.”
